About
- Hello! My name is Vladimir, but you can call me Vlad.
- I was born in Santiago, Chile, into a Brazilian family, so Portuguese has always been my native language. I lived in Santiago and New York before finally coming to Brazil at the age of five.
- At eight, I began my English learning journey when I lived in Mozambique, Africa, studying at the International School of Maputo.
- At sixteen, I consolidated my knowledge in English by taking two English classes every day at North Miami Beach Senior High, where I lived for a year. I also learned some Spanish casually in the streets.
- At eighteen, I started studying Computer Science in Brazil and earned my bachelor’s degree at twenty-one.
- In 2019, I started learning about and investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and, in 2025, I became certified as a Crypto Assets Specialist by the ABCripto (Brazilian Crypto-economy Association), marking a milestone in my professional journey.
- In 2024, I began my career transition into translation by completing several courses in the field, which are listed in my CV.
